goat
Trixie
Trixie is a spunky girl with a big personality! She first came to the sanctuary as a baby through the city’s Animal Care and Control. While she was a total "cuddle bug" when she was little, she has recently come into her own and developed a wonderful, independent streak. She still has a fun personality and a love for treats, but these days she prefers to spend her time exploring with the rest of the herd. It’s been a joy to watch her grow from a little kid into a confident, thriving member of the family!
goat
Simon
Simon is a sweet boy with a wonderful story of finding where he belongs! He first came to us after being found running loose by the local Sheriff, and while he was a bit shy at first, he has truly blossomed at the sanctuary. Simon has been warmly embraced by our entire goat herd and is quickly becoming a favorite among our volunteers. These days, he loves soaking up attention and is always the first in line to accept a tasty treat from our visitors!
duck
Pippa
Pippa is a truly special soul with a personality that fills the whole farm! She was found as a lonely gosling wandering a city parking lot, but her life changed forever when she was brought to the sanctuary. Hand-raised by our dedicated volunteer, Autumn, Pippa grew up with lots of love and now lives her best life alongside her duck friends. Despite being part of the flock, she still treasures her bond with humans and loves joining Autumn for walks around the property. Pippa is also quite the socialite—she’s known to hold a full conversation with anyone who stops by to say hello!
cat
Bryan
Bryan is one of our independent spirits here at the sanctuary. As a dedicated barn cat, he spends his days roaming the grounds and keeping an eye on farm life. While he prefers to march to the beat of his own drum, Bryan clearly appreciates the comfort of a reliable routine. He knows he has a permanent place to call home where he will always be safe, well-fed, and cared for as a vital member of the Angels Acres family.
goat
Dolly
Dolly is a sweet and beautiful girl who is a proud resident of Goat Town! She was surrendered to the sanctuary when her owners could no longer provide a place for her to live; they made the selfless choice to bring her here so she would never have to be alone. Dolly has fully embraced life with the herd and loves meeting new visitors. Her former family still comes to visit her, and it’s heart-warming to see those lasting bonds. She is truly thriving now that she has both her human friends and a whole goat family to call her own!
goat
Moo Moo
Moo Moo is a favorite among visitors, and it's easy to see why! With her striking black and white patches, she looks just like a tiny cow. She arrived at the sanctuary as a baby alongside her friend, Becky, during a late-night rescue while the winter snow was falling. While her start was chilly, Moo Moo is now a warm and affectionate soul who absolutely loves to be brushed and petted. She is always first in line for treats and has truly blossomed in her forever home at the sanctuary.
donkey
LokiLoki is a truly sweet soul with an incredible capacity for forgiveness. Before joining us at the sanctuary, he was being trained for life as a nativity donkey—a demanding job that left him with a few physical scars and a cautious heart. Through the gentle care and patience of our volunteers, Loki has learned to trust again and has opened his heart to both humans and his fellow animals. These days, he is never far from his best friends and pasture mates, Hemi and Daisy. It’s been a privilege to watch him move past his early challenges and find a life filled with friendship and peace.
goat
Nox
Nox is one of the newest members of our herd, joining us recently after the loss of his companion left him all alone. While it took him a little time to find his footing, he has truly come out of his shell and can now be found right in the middle of the group, playing happily with the other goats. Nox is incredibly affectionate and absolutely lives for head scratches and pets! It is wonderful to see him vibrant, social, and surrounded by friends once again in his forever home.
goat
Maple
Maple has one of the most incredible "glow-up" stories at the sanctuary! When she was first rescued after roaming the woods in the middle of winter, her coat was so weathered we thought she was dark brown, until a good cleaning revealed her stunning, light maple-colored fur. Not long after, she gave us the best surprise of all: her son, Charlie! Today, Maple is a happy, healthy momma whose resilience and sweet spirit are an inspiration to us all.
goat
Sophia
Sophia is a spirited girl who has been part of our family since she was just eight days old. After an early leg injury meant she needed to be hand-raised for extra care, she came to us for specialized attention and has been thriving ever since! Sophia has a unique way of showing love. She’ll lean her head right against your leg to say hello. Her absolute favorite activities include hitching a ride around the farm on the utility cart or enjoying a quiet moment snuggling with her favorite volunteers.
goat
Charlie
Charlie holds a very special place in our hearts as the first baby goat ever born here at the sanctuary! His momma, Maple, was rescued after being found in the woods, and Charlie was the wonderful surprise miracle she was carrying. This sweet boy is absolutely full of life and loves human attention. Though he faced some major health challenges early on, he pulled through thanks to our amazing supporters. Now, Charlie enjoys every day side-by-side with his momma, Maple.
pig
Jojo
JoJo is a sweet-natured soul who is always happy to engage with her human friends! After her family moved out of state, JoJo found her forever home here in "Piggyland," and her previous family even makes special trips back to visit her. She spends her happy days in the sun with her best buddies, Rubert and Sue. If you have a few marshmallows or are ready to offer some pets and scratches, you’ll quickly become JoJo’s favorite person!
goat
Nova
Nova joined the sanctuary with her brother, Rusty, when an older couple reached out to ensure they would have a wonderful new home. Nova is just as sweet as can be, with a gentle nature that instantly wins over everyone she meets! She is full of joy and loves to run and play with her new goat friends. Whether she’s exploring the pasture or soaking up attention from our volunteers, Nova is clearly loving every minute of her life here.
goat
Lola
Lola is a sweet girl with striking, beautiful markings on her face that make her truly stand out! She arrived at the sanctuary alongside her friends Rubert the pig and two ducks following a seizure. While her start was difficult, Lola has blossomed into a trusting and affectionate member of the family. She never turns down a treat! These days, she is rarely seen without her best friend, Wattles, as they rule Goat Town.
goat
Alvin
Alvin arrived at the sanctuary with his brother, Theo, after the pair was found wandering along a nearby road. While he is still a bit skittish around people and prefers to keep his distance, he is a picture of calm and confidence when he is with his fellow goats. Alvin is rarely seen without his brother, Theo, or his friend, Buddy, by his side. It’s wonderful to see him feel so secure and relaxed within the herd, enjoying the steady comfort of his best friends!
pig
Rubert
Rubert is a favorite animal for many of our visitors here at the sanctuary! He has quite a personality and is super sweet. He will follow anyone who gives him attention and will wag his little tail like a puppy. He loves to eat marshmallows and spends his time lounging and grazing with his other pot bellied pig buddies, Sue and JoJo.
goat
Millie
Millie is a tiny survivor with a huge personality! Though she had a difficult start after being rescued as a baby from a carrier where wild animals had chewed her ears, she has blossomed into a delightfully sassy leader. As the self-appointed "boss" of the herd, Millie is constantly making us laugh with her funny antics and super-friendly nature. She has a way of stealing the heart of everyone she meets and is truly thriving in her forever home, proving that her spirit is much bigger than her size.
cat
Pheobe

goat
Jerry
Jerry is a handsome fellow with an absolutely gorgeous head of hair! He arrived at the sanctuary with his friend, Tom, after the two were found out on an adventure running loose. While Jerry is a bit of a "slow burn" and takes some warming up, he has a wonderful surprise for those who take the time to know him: he absolutely loves to smile when he hears his name! He is a beautiful reminder that the best friendships are often worth the wait.
duck
Ducks
We have a vibrant and active duck flock here at Angels Acres! Our flock includes a wide variety of breeds—and even a goose—who all share a spacious area complete with their own pond and cozy shelters. As neighbors to the pigs and horses, they are a central part of life at the sanctuary. The ducks are never shy about letting us know when it’s feeding time, a joyful noise that reminds us of the security and reliability they’ve found in their forever home. It’s a peace they truly deserve.
cat
Precious
Precious is one of our barn cats here at the sanctuary. Precious will often greet visitors with a purr and enjoys being petted. Today, he is living a life full of safety and affection, enjoying every moment of his happy new chapter.
highland cow
Milkshake
Milkshake is a highland cow. He has albinism and is blind in both eyes, so he is very shy and relies on his sense of hearing and touch to navigate. Milkshake arrived at Angels Acres in the summer of 2025, and found a forever home of hope, peace, & love.
cat
Biggins
BIggins is a sweetheart of a cat, but he is very, very shy and will typically run away if approached to suddenly. You can typically find Biggins lounging about in the sun or keeping warm on the porch. While he may not love attention from people, he still knows he has a forever home here at Angels Acres and relies on the security of always having food, shelter, and a place to call home.
cat
Bobtail
Bobtail is a sweet girl! You can see her running about freely at Angels Acres, as one of our group of barn cats who live outdoors. Bobtail got her name because she lost most of her tail when she was young at some point. She is friendly if you approach her carefully, and enjoys being with the other cats on the porch. She feels safe and secure thanks to her forever home at Angels Acres.
horse
Sky
Sky spent most of his first twenty years in a lonely field with a donkey and little human contact. When he first arrived at the sanctuary, he was understandably fearful and hesitant to trust. Everything changed when he met our volunteer, Autumn; her patience and treats helped him realize he was finally safe. Through their special bond, Sky blossomed from a scared horse into one who thrives on attention and affection. Today, he is a happy member of the sanctuary family, finally understanding what it means to be loved and cared for in his forever home.
goat
Tom
Tom arrived at the sanctuary with his friend, Jerry, after the adventurous pair was found running loose. Unlike Jerry, Tom was an instant social butterfly! He is extremely friendly and has a heart of gold. One of his absolute favorite things to do is go for walks with our volunteers; he is such a loyal companion that he won't leave your side the entire time. Tom’s affectionate spirit and love for company make him a joy to be around for everyone he meets!
horse
Cooper
Cooper is a true pioneer! After a leg injury, he received a successful experimental titanium rod surgery by a human orthopedic doctor. Although he was surrendered to the sanctuary because he could no longer be ridden, this 11-year-old boy hasn’t lost his signature spunk. He walks with a permanent limp, but he is overall doing wonderful and thrives on attention and treats. We are thrilled this innovation extended his life, allowing his feisty, one-of-a-kind personality to shine in a forever home filled with hope, peace, and love.
cat
Garfield
Garfield is practically the mascot of Angels Acres! With his big personality and even bigger heart, he greets almost everyone who visits and will happily follow you around the farm to see what you're up to. He is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet and loves being held, petted, and visiting with his many animal neighbors. Garfield truly thrives here, enjoying his freedom while soaking up all the love and security of sanctuary life. Biggins is a gentle sweetheart who prefers a quiet life. Because he is very shy, he usually scurries away if approached too quickly, but you can often spot him from a distance lounging in a sunny patch of grass or keeping warm on the porch. While he may not seek out human attention like some of the others, Biggins finds great comfort in the reliability of the sanctuary, knowing he always has a warm shelter and a full bowl waiting for him. Rubert is a true sanctuary favorite! This super-sweet fellow has a fun spirit, often wagging his tail as he looks to visitors for attention. Rubert arrived with his friends Lola the goat and two ducks, and today, he is living his best life. He spends his afternoons lounging with his pig buddies, Sue and JoJo, and never turns down a belly rub or a marshmallow treat. Rubert’s resilient, happy-go-lucky personality reminds us all of the joy that comes with a fresh start!
horse
Hemi
Hemi is a former racehorse who traveled across the country during his career! Once he retired from the track, he found his way to the sanctuary to live a life of leisure, free from the demands of racing. Because he was worked quite hard in his youth, he manages some ongoing breathing issues, but we stay on top of his care to ensure he remains comfortable and happy. A true favorite among volunteers and visitors alike, Hemi has a beautiful soul that shines through in every interaction.
goat
Oakley
Oakley is a brave little soul who arrived at the sanctuary in need of extra specialized care and a lot of love. Though she had a very difficult start to life, our team of volunteers jumped in immediately with around-the-clock bottle feedings, baths, and plenty of cuddles. Thanks to that dedicated care, Oakley has grown strong and is now thriving! She can be a little timid at first, but she truly blossoms when held. There is nothing she loves more than being scooped up for a cozy snuggle.
goat
Wattles
Wattles was surrendered to us as a baby along with two of her goat friends. She absolutely loves to play and is a social butterfly! These days, you can often find her engaging in a friendly game of head-butting—which she usually wins! goat
DaisyDaisy is a sweet soul with striking black and white markings who joined us after being given as a birthday gift to someone unable to provide the care she required. It has been a joy to watch her transformation as she found her place within the herd. Today, Daisy fully embraces the love and security of sanctuary life, proving that every animal deserves a soft place to land.
horse
DaisyDaisy the horse is a very sweet girl. She is our oldest horse at 33 years old. Daisy has a condition called sway back, from being overworked earlier in her life. She receives physical therapy every month to help with this and we keep a close eye on her medical needs to ensure she has the best quality and longest life possible. Daisy keeps close to her best friends and pasture mates, Loki the donkey, and Hemi the horse, but she will also gladly greet visitors for treats and attention! Daisy is a wonderful testament to our belief that every animal deserves hope, peace, and love.
goat
Theo
Theo arrived at the sanctuary with his brother, Alvin, after the pair was found running along a nearby road. While he was quite skittish when he first arrived, our team was able to bring them both to safety at the farm. Theo is a sensitive soul who appreciates calm, quiet interaction as he gets to know new people. However, once he decides you are a safe friend, he becomes incredibly affectionate! It has been a joy to watch him build confidence and enjoy life with his goat family and our volunteers.
goat
Bella
Bella is an absolute sweetheart who is known around the sanctuary for her gorgeous, big eyes and her incredibly affectionate personality. While she loves hanging out with the rest of the goat herd, she is just as kind and friendly toward every visitor she meets. Bella is always the first in line for some attention (and maybe a treat or two!), and it’s wonderful to see her thriving in a place where she feels so loved and secure.
goat
Delmar
Delmar is a goat you truly can't miss! Standing heads above the rest of the herd, he can reach over seven feet when he stands on his hind legs. As the very first goat rescue at the sanctuary, Delmar holds a special place in our hearts. He originally arrived as a baby with his brother, Oliver, who passed shortly after, and later became inseparable with his best friend, Stark. Though Delmar is currently grieving the recent loss of Stark, he is finding comfort in the company of his other goat and human friends. He remains a sweet boy who loves attention and will do just about anything for a few cherry tomatoes!
pig
Sue
Sue is a pot-bellied pig with a personality as big as her heart! She has quite the adventurous spirit—she actually arrived at the sanctuary with her friend, Ricky Bobby, after they both made a brave escape from a meat truck. Now, Sue has finally found the comfort and freedom she deserves. She spends her happy days exploring the outdoors and relaxing in the sun with her best pig buddies, JoJo and Rubert. Milkshake is a stunning Highland cow with a gentle, quiet spirit. Because he has albinism and is blind in both eyes, he navigates his world through a keen sense of hearing and touch. Arriving at the sanctuary when he was only a year and a half, Milkshake was quite shy at first, but he has found a deep sense of security here. In his forever home, he is surrounded by the hope, peace, and love he needs to feel safe, proving that even in a world of shadows, there is plenty of light to be found.
