Meet Our Birds

There are plenty of birds running about at Angels Acres!  We have 4 chickens and two roosters, who live primarily in their own safe area next to Goat Town.  They often like to wander about the rest of the farm as well, so you may see them in the main barn or sometimes taking a stroll in the main walkways.  On the other side of the main barn, is Quacker Ranch, which as you can tell by the name, is home to our ducks.  We have many ducks, some are white ducks, there are a few white swans, and we also have some Mallard ducks as well, and even a goose we rescued as a baby!   They have their own little getaways, and a nice pond to swim in and keep cool.   The ducks are the closest neighbors of our animals residing in Piggy Land.

Many of our ducks and chickens have been at Angels Acres since they were just babies and some were rescued at a little bit older age.  All of them have been rescued from situations where they did not have proper care, shelter, and food available to them.

If you are a fan of the ducks and would like to help provide financial care for them, you can sponsor a "flock" on our sponsorship page, or you can sponsor a rooster or chicken individually.  They would definitely appreciate your support!

Sponsor A Flock's Care

We are very excited to finally offer the ability for our visitors and supporters to sponsor our animals here at Angels Acres!  By sponsoring, not only are you creating a special connection with that animal, but you are becoming an amazing PARTNER in the work we do here at our sanctuary!  Sponsorships help ensure all of the animals receive the very best care and help us further our mission of rescuing and rehabilitating as many animals as we can.

Ducks

My Bio

We have a large herd of ducks here at Angels Acres! There are a variety of types of ducks, even a goose! The ducks have their own area with a pond and shelters, and are neighbors to the pigs and horses. The ducks are always sure to let us know when it is feeding time, but that just reminds of the security and reliability they have found in their forever home here at Angels Acres.

Chickens

My Bio

We have a small flock of chickens and roosters at Angels Acres; there are two main roosters, and three hens. The roam freely about the farm when they aren't in their coop for the evening. They enjoy walking about the farm and meeting all the other animals. They are all thriving in a safe and loving home here at Angels Acres!
