Meet Our Goats

You can't visit Angels Acres without running into several of our goat friends!  That's because we have about 20 goats living here at the sanctuary!  17 of the goats live in Goat Town, which is the main fenced in area adjacent to our main barn where they have their indoor quarters.  Goat Town is their very colorful outdoor playground where they have a climbing bridge, in ground trampoline, and numerous other structures to keep them busy.  We sometimes have goats who need extra care, and live in the main house with the owners of Angels Acres, Bobbie and Terry.   These goats have additional medical needs that prevent them from being able to be outdoors in the heat and cold, and some of them are unable to walk and need more assistance and a close eye kept on them. When you visit us, be sure to stop in our gift shop to pick up some special goat treats that are safe for them to eat.  Feeding the goats is a favorite activity for most of our visitors!  The goats are all very friendly and love the attention they get.

All of our goats have been rescued from various situations, and each one has their own unique story which you can ready more about on their individual sponsorship pages linked under their names below. Some of them were rescued as babies and others came here when they were much older.  Many of them have faced trauma and abuse, and/or neglect.  Here at Angel's Acres, we make sure they receive the best care possible and like all of our animals here, they are like family to us.

If you are smitten with any of our goats and would like to help provide financial care for them, you can sponsor one ore more on our sponsorship page below or by clicking their individual links posted below their names.  They would definitely appreciate your support!

Give A Goat A Second Chance

We are very excited to finally offer the ability for our visitors and supporters to sponsor our animals here at Angels Acres!  By sponsoring, not only are you creating a special connection with that animal, but you are becoming an amazing PARTNER in the work we do here at our sanctuary!  Sponsorships help ensure all of the animals receive the very best care and help us further our mission of rescuing and rehabilitating as many animals as we can.

Meet Our Goats

Oakley

My Bio

Oakley began her life in a slaughterhouse. When she was just a few weeks old, her mother was dragged away from her and butchered, leaving little Oakley alone, covered in filth, and without her mother's milk. Luckily someone stepped up and contacted us, and a rescue plan was put in place. When Oakley arrived at Angels Acres, she was barely hanging on. She received immediate veterinary care, to treat an infection and to help get her rumen working properly. Volunteers swooped in to help bathe her, and give her lots of cuddles and bottle feeds. We weren't sure she would make it through the first few nights, but she has gained her strength and is getting comfortable at the sanctuary. She is timid at first, but once you pick her up, she loves to be cuddled and held.

Simon

My Bio

Simon is a sweet baby boy who has been embraced by everyone and the rest of the goat herd at Angels Acres. He loves attention and taking treats from visitors.

Jerry

My Bio

Jerry came to Angels Acres along with his brother Tom. When he arrived he was suffering from neglect and scared, but has come around quickly as he has been shown love and what real care looks like.

Charlie

My Bio

Charlie is the first ever baby goat born here at Angels Acres, so he holds a very special place in our hearts! His momma, Maple, was rescued from a terrible neglect case, and he was the little surprise miracle she was carrying! Charlie is full of life and full of personality! He loves human attention and thinks he is a lap goat even though he is almost fully grown now. He lives with his momma, Maple, in their own special little yard and barn attached to the main resident at the farm. Charlie has had some major health issues in his young life, but thanks to many of our supporters, he pulled through and we are doing all we can to ensure he has the best and longest life possible.

Nova

My Bio

Nova came to the farm with her brother, Rusty, in the fall of 2024 from a neglect case. She loves to run and play with her new goat friends and get attention from the volunteers.

Rusty

My Bio

Rusty came to the farm in the fall of 2024 with his sister, Nova, from a neglect case. Rusty loves his goat family and the volunteers who care for him and feed him. He has found safety and love and is thriving here at the sanctuary.

Sophia

My Bio

Sophia's life started out with the loss of her whole family - her momma died giving birth, and Sophia was the only surviving baby. She was bottle fed and lives in the house with Bobbie & Terry as she has some special needs they keep an eye on. Sophia lets you know she likes you by putting her head up against your leg, but she will also let you know what she doesn't like! Her favorite thing to do is ride around the farm on the utility cart with Bobbie or sit with "Grammy", our volunteer Cyndi. She is very loved and is thriving here at the sanctuary.

Maple

My Bio

Maple was rescued from a very bad neglect case - in fact, she was such a dark color, that we thought she was dark brown or black, until we cleaned her up and uncovered her beautiful light maple colored fur. Maple was also carrying a surprise - a little baby boy goat who was born a few months later (Charlie!). Maple has some long term health issues due to her neglect, but we are ensuring she has the best life possible for as long as as possible here at Angels Acres. Due to her needs, and to be with her son Charlie, they live in their own special area with their own mini barn in the yard attached to the owner's residence here at Angels Acres.

Bella

My Bio

Bella is a sweet girl who loves treats and attention. Her sister Lola also lives at Angels Acres. Here, she has found the love and security she needs to thrive along with the rest of the goat herd.

Lola

My Bio

Lola is a sweet girl with very unique and beautiful markings on her face! She came to the sanctuary with her sister, Bella. She may have come from a neglect case, but she has opened up to people and thrives with the rest of the goat herd. Lola is happy to be petted and loves treats as well. Her ability to love and trust again is why we do what we do, and why every animal deserves hope, peace, and love.

Wattles

My Bio

Wattles loves to play! He can often be seen head butting with the other goats but it's all in good fun. Wattles may have been neglected earlier in his life, but thrived since arriving here at the sanctuary where he receives the best care, and lots of love and attention.

Buddy (Goat)

Buddy the goat (we also have a dog named Buddy!), is a sweet and gentle soul, who made his entrance to Angels Acres during an emergency rescue that happened during our annual Barnyard Birthday Bash! He has become a fixture amongst the goat herd and loves attention and treats. He is easy to spot with his handsome markings and thick horns! Buddy has a great life and lots of love and security now that his forever home is at Angels Acres.

Willow

My Bio

Willow is such a sweet soul! She is graceful and striking with her all white fur, and is very gentle with visitors and volunteers. Willow suffered neglect in her earlier life, but has received great care, attention, and love since arriving here at the farm. She is definitely a favorite amongst our volunteers and the goat herd wouldn't be the same without her. Her transformation has been a joy to watch and is testament to our belief that every animal deserves hope, peace and love.

Frosty

My Bio

Frosty is a unique goat, known for his long and impressive horns! Frosty was found, barely alive, in a mound of snow along the side of a road. His nose was frostbitten, and that is how he got his name Frosty! He is also the oldest goat in the herd, and almost 15 years old! Goats typically have a lifespan of 10 - 12 years, but with the love and care he receives at Angels Acres, he is still going strong.

Alvin

My Bio

Alvin came to Angels Acres with his brother Theo from an animal neglect case. Through the time and care of our volunteers, Theo has found safety and love here at the sanctuary. He is a sweet boy and loves to play with his goat family and interact with volunteers and visitors.

Trixie

My Bio

Trixie is a spunky little girl with a fun personality and a love for attention and treats. She may have suffered neglect earlier in her life, but she has learned to love and trust again and is thriving here at the sanctuary. She loves spending time with the rest of the herd who have become her family.

Millie

My Bio

Millie is a very sweet and sassy little goat! She may be little but she is the boss of the herd! Millie was rescued as a baby, after being left outside in a small dog carrier, where she was attacked by other animals who tore her little ears. Millie is a survivor, and quickly stole the hearts of everyone at Angels Acres. She is thriving and full of love after finding her forever home here at the sanctuary.

Daisy (Goat)

My Bio

Daisy is a sweet goat with beautiful black and white markings. She is quite friendly and will eagerly accept treats from visitors. She may have come from a situation of neglect, but she has learned to trust people and loves being with the other goats in the herd. We loved seeing Daisy's transformation and watching her blossom here at Angels Acres.

Theo

My Bio

Theo is a sweet boy who loves to receive attention and treats. He may have suffered neglect in his early life, but he is thriving now thanks to the love and attention he receives here at the sanctuary. He came to Angels Acres with his fellow goat buddy, Alvin. Theo has grown so much since arriving here and it has been a true joy to watch him blossom and learn to trust and love.

Delmar

My Bio

Delmar is one goat you can't miss! He stands heads above the rest of the herd, and when he stands on his hind legs, he reaches almost 7 feet tall! Delmar is a sweet boy and absolutely loves attention and will do just about anything for some cherry tomatoes. Delmar has been at Angels Acres since he was just a baby, and he has become best friends with another goat in the herd, Stark. The two are almost always together, even sleeping in the same stall in the barn, or lying on one another in support if one is sick. Their friendship is a reminder of the love and compassion we strive to provide here at Angels Acres.

Moo Moo

My Bio

Moo Moo is easy to spot - thanks to her black and white spots! She is aptly named Moo Moo for her cow like fur pattern. She is a sweet girl and loves to be brushed and petted, and readily accepts treats from people. Once a neglected and abandoned little goat, she is thriving here in her forever home at Angels Acres.
