Meet Our Barn Cats

Around the sanctuary you can find a small handful of barn cats who not only help keep mice away, but also help make a friendly atmosphere here at Angel's Acres.  Most of them have been rescued (with the exception of Biggins who chose to live here, but we suspect that's because he was treated much better here than where he came from).  Garfield is particularly friendly and is known to run up to visitors for some pets or even to be held now and then.   There is also one indoor only kitty who lives in the main house with Bobbie and Terry, a little black and white cat named Boo.

The cats do as they please and sleep where they are comfortable, so you never know where you might find them but you're sure to see one or two when you visit us to meet all of the animals.

If you are particularly fond of any of the cats, or know someone who is a cat lover, you might consider becoming a sponsor to help contribute towards their care.  You can sign up as a sponsor via the button below, or the individual links beneath each cat's name and photo.  Either way, they would be so thankful for your support!

Sponsor A Barn Cat's Care

We are very excited to finally offer the ability for our visitors and supporters to sponsor our animals here at Angels Acres!  By sponsoring, not only are you creating a special connection with that animal, but you are becoming an amazing PARTNER in the work we do here at our sanctuary!  Sponsorships help ensure all of the animals receive the very best care and help us further our mission of rescuing and rehabilitating as many animals as we can.

Meet Our Barn Cats

George

My Bio

George can be found roaming the grounds as one of our barn cats. While he likes to remain independent, he enjoys the safety and comfort of the farm and knowing he has a place to call home where he will always be fed and cared for.

Bobtail

My Bio

Bobtail is a sweet girl! You can see her running about freely at Angels Acres, as one of our group of barn cats who live outdoors. Bobtail got her name because she lost most of her tail when she was young at some point. She is friendly if you approach her carefully, and enjoys being with the other cats on the porch. She feels safe and secure thanks to her forever home at Angels Acres.

Precious

My Bio

Precious is one of our barn cats here at the sanctuary. Precious will often greet visitors with a purr and enjoys being petted. She is friendly with the other cats and animals and loves to roam about the farm, while still enjoying the love, safety, and security of knowing she has a forever home here at Angels Acres.

Pheobe

My Bio

Phoebe is one of the barn cats here at the sanctuary. She is a sweet girl who loves to bask in the sun or stay cozy on the porch couch. She loves being able to roam and enjoy life, while still enjoying the love, security and safety of her forever home here at Angels Acres.

Garfield

My Bio

Garfield is practically a mascot at Angels Acres! He tends to greet everyone who visits, and loves to be held and petted. He is one of the sweetest cats you'll meet, and he will happily follow you about, and loves to visit with the other animals on the farm as well. He thrives here at the farm, where is able to roam freely but still have the safety and security of a forever home.

Biggins

My Bio

BIggins is a sweetheart of a cat, but he is very, very shy and will typically run away if approached to suddenly. You can typically find Biggins lounging about in the sun or keeping warm on the porch. While he may not love attention from people, he still knows he has a forever home here at Angels Acres and relies on the security of always having food, shelter, and a place to call home.
