Cooper's Bio
I am 11 years old.
I live in the horse pastures.
Cooper is one of a kind! Not just because of his curious and sometimes feisty personality, but because he was one of the first horses to ever receive a titanium rod in his leg. Cooper was rescued in the nick of time - he was set to be put down after a broken leg, but as luck would have it, an orthopaedic doctor heard about his situation and asked if he could perform the experimental surgery. Cooper's luck held out, as the titanium rod worked well and helped support his weight. Cooper is only about 6-7 years old and still has a lot of spunk, so we are thrilled that his life has been extended by this innovation. He does walk with a limp but is overall doing very well and loves attention and treats. He fits right in and has found his forever home of hope, peace, and love here at Angels Acres.
